Franco-German singer Sophie Wegener founded ZONA SUL in 1999, a band dedicated to playing Bossa Nova, the music invented in the late 1950s by Brazilians João Gilberto and Antonio Carlos Jobim. After their critically acclaimed first album PURE LOVE, the band published their second album BEIRA in 2006. Now you can listen on TEM MAIS SAMBA again to their beautiful sound.
